Arkansas Southern Railroad is a short-line railroad operated by Watco that has provided freight service since October 2005 over 63 miles of two disconnected branch lines leased from Kansas City Southern in Arkansas and Oklahoma. It hauls freight including corn and soy, carbon dioxide, and chemicals such as bauxite and acid.
