Ann Taylor is an American women's clothing retailer founded in 1954, known for professional and classic apparel sold through mall-based stores and e-commerce. Formerly the flagship brand of the publicly traded Ann Inc. (renamed from AnnTaylor Stores in 2011), it was acquired by Ascena Retail Group in 2015 and, after Ascena's 2020 bankruptcy, passed to Sycamore Partners' Knitwell Group alongside sister brands like LOFT and Talbots.
