Alterra Mountain Company is a Denver-based mountain resort operator, founded in 2018 and privately owned by KSL Capital Partners and Henry Crown and Company, that owns and operates 19 ski and adventure destinations across North America. It is best known for the Ikon Pass, a multi-resort season pass that competes with Vail Resorts' Epic Pass.
