Al Mar Knives is a knife manufacturer founded in 1979 by Al Mar, a former Army Special Forces officer and knife designer, known for premium tactical, outdoor, and everyday-carry knives including the pioneering SERE knife. The brand was sold in 2019 to Maryland-based Edge Technologies Engineering LLC and continues to design and sell knives, now manufactured overseas.
