Test Development Engineer
Test Development Engineers design, build, and maintain automated test systems and equipment (often called Automatic Test Equipment or ATE) used to verify that manufactured products meet specifications and function correctly. Their work involves writing test code and scripts, configuring hardware test benches, and troubleshooting test failures to identify defects in circuit boards, semiconductors, and other components during manufacturing or quality assurance phases. The role requires strong programming skills, knowledge of electronics and test methodology, and the ability to work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to ensure reliable product testing at scale.
