Occupation

Geographer

A Geographer studies the spatial relationships between people, places, and the environment, using GIS software like ArcGIS and spatial analysis to interpret land use, demographic, or environmental data. They often apply remote sensing data and cartography skills to produce maps and data visualizations that inform urban planning, environmental policy, or business site selection. Geographers work in government agencies, research institutions, and increasingly in private-sector location analytics and logistics roles.
