What this role is
You'll build and operate autonomous AI agents that handle Anthropic's sales workflows end-to-end, from lead generation through pipeline management, while designing evaluation frameworks to measure agent reliability and business impact. This senior role combines full-stack engineering across agentic systems, web applications, and data infrastructure with hands-on work grounding agent designs in real seller workflows and establishing best practices for the company's growing AI engineering function.

Required
- Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript with production application experience
- Production experience with LLMs including context engineering, agent development, MCP development, tool use, and evaluation frameworks
- Experience using evals and transcript analysis to identify and fix problems in LLM systems
- Working fluency with data and SQL
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and ship without specifications
Nice to have
- 8+ years as a software engineer, ML engineer, or forward deployed engineer (technical founders encouraged)
- Experience with Claude Code and Claude Agent SDK
- Familiarity with go-to-market systems like CRM, sales engagement, enrichment, or conversation intelligence, or time working closely with a revenue team
- Experience growing a codebase with many contributors
- Applied ML and experimentation background including A/B testing, propensity models, recommendations, or causal analysis
- Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical partners
