Required
- Master's degree or PhD in Sensory Science, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Animal Science, or related field
- 7+ years of relevant pet industry experience in sensory science, consumer product research, or related technical roles
- Experience applying sensory science to product development and optimization in complex product systems
- Proven ability to design and execute robust learning plans with appropriate experimental rigor
- Strong understanding of experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of sensory data
- Ability to connect technical product knowledge to consumer experience to inform design decisions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and influence skills across functions and levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed organization
- Demonstrated passion for leading and developing people
- Learning agility, problem-solving capability, and comfort with ambiguity
- Currently authorized to work full-time in the United States
Nice to have
- Experience as a people manager or in a strong technical leadership role
- Experience building foundational product knowledge and translating it into practical team guidance
- Experience working across multiple brands, platforms, or business segments
- Ability to identify and introduce new tools, analytic approaches, or capabilities
