What they ask for
Required
- 12+ years manufacturing or systems engineering experience (or 10+ with Master's degree, or 8+ with PhD)
- Expert understanding of manufacturing system architectures (MES, PLM, ERP, SCADA, automation controls, test systems)
- Hands-on ERP/MES platform experience in production
- Cross-functional leadership across hardware, software, and operations teams
- Strong communication and ability to influence technical direction
- Regular on-site presence to support builds, reviews, and floor issues
Nice to have
- Robotics or advanced automation experience
- Model-based systems engineering or digital twin implementation background
- Data systems knowledge (SQL, APIs, data lakes)
- Proven scaling from prototype to high-volume production
