What they ask for
Required
- 7+ years aerospace or space hardware quality inspection experience
- At least 3 years propulsion or thruster systems inspection
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, ECSS, NASA or equivalent)
- Proficiency with precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, CMM, borescopes, electrical test equipment)
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
- Understanding of propulsion system components (valves, tanks, igniters, thruster assemblies, propellant feed systems)
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and contamination control
Nice to have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering
- IPC-A-610 / IPC-A-620 certification
- GD&T certification (ASME Y14.5)
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT)
