- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Deep hands-on Akamai expertise (Property Manager/Ion, Kona, Bot Manager, EdgeWorkers, PAPI APIs)
- Strong networking foundation (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, DNS, SSL/TLS, BGP)
- Software engineering proficiency in Python, Go, React, and Java
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform)
- AWS hands-on experience (API Gateway, CloudFront, ACM, WAFv2, Lambda)

- Production support and on-call experience with incident RCA
