What they ask for
Required
- 4–8 years in enterprise finance, FP&A, ERP implementation, financial systems consulting, or public accounting
- Understanding of rolling forecasts, CFO reporting requirements, and GL reconciliation
- Hands-on experience budgeting large programs with cost centers, headcount planning, and CapEx/OpEx treatment
- Experience with software capitalization workflows (ASC 350-40 / IAS 38) or R&D cost classification
- Knowledge of enterprise financial and ERP systems and where they fall short
- Genuine AI fluency with clear perspective on AI reliability in financial contexts
- Ability to write clearly for executive audiences and work collaboratively across teams
Nice to have
- Work at a Big Four firm or close collaboration with auditors
- Experience with batch upload and API integration architecture
- Familiarity with MCP/agent-first AI integration models
