- ASCP BOC or AMT generalist MLS/MT certification
- One year supervisory experience at GS-12 level or equivalent
- Knowledge of federal and state laboratory regulations and accreditation standards
- Skill in interpersonal relations and conflict resolution
- Ability to perform full range of supervisory duties including hiring, evaluation, and discipline
- Ability to manage laboratory quality management programs
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate government vehicle
