What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years professional software development writing production-grade code in Python, Go, Java, or C++
- 4+ years designing and building scalable distributed microservices architectures
- Proven track record diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues including memory leaks and CPU bottlenecks
- Hands-on experience with profiling, tracing, and APM tools
- Strong expertise in database optimization, SQL/NoSQL queries, indexing, and multi-tier caching
Nice to have
- Understanding of how application code interacts with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP)
- Experience establishing micro-benchmarking, load testing, and stress testing practices in CI/CD pipelines
- Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, multi-threading, memory management, and distributed systems
- Demonstrated ability to drive design reviews and mentor mid-level engineers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills collaborating with platform and product teams
