- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform hard physical labor
- Willingness to shower daily in and out of facility
- Ability to work 48-hour work weeks with variable scheduling
- Weekend, evening, and holiday work as needed
- On-call availability for emergencies
- Ability to work with antibiotics including penicillin
- Ability to tolerate blood, animal dander, manure, dust, and noise
