  • 2+ years experience with conventional and CNC machines
  • 1+ years experience with optics, lasers, electronics, mechanical or instrumentation
  • 1+ years experience in optical equipment assembly and repair
  • High school diploma or GED
  • U.S. Person as defined by export control regulations
  • English language proficiency

Nice to have

  • 5+ years in high precision manufacturing, tool and die, or aerospace environments
  • CAD for manufacturing experience
  • Ability to visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings
  • Prototype machinist background
  • Formal apprenticeship program or Associate's Degree in Manufacturing Technology
  • Proficiency with Mastercam and CNC programming
  • In-depth GD&T knowledge
  • Expert use of inspection tools with .0001 inch accuracy
  • Materials knowledge (steels, aluminum, composites, exotic alloys)
