What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics, or related field
  • 5+ years GNC experience on space vehicles
  • Demonstrated ownership of algorithms from design through implementation and test
  • Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for flight algorithm design
  • U.S. Person status (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Solid foundation in control theory and stability analysis
  • Working knowledge of spacecraft attitude dynamics and orbital mechanics
  • Experience validating GNC software through hardware-in-the-loop testing
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and present at design reviews

Nice to have

  • Experience writing flight or embedded software in C or Rust
  • Propulsion-specific GNC experience: finite-burn effects, thrust/Isp uncertainty, propellant slosh, optimal jet select
  • Experience with both chemical and electric propulsion control
  • Long-duration low-thrust guidance experience
  • Strapdown navigation and IMU error modeling experience
  • Monte Carlo and linear covariance dispersion analysis experience
  • Knowledge of GMAT, STK, FreeFlyer, or equivalent astrodynamics tools
  • Prior technical lead or mentoring experience on small teams
  • Experience supporting government programs (NASA, DoD, SBIR/STTR)
