What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline with 7 years of facilities/construction experience, or 15 years hands-on experience without degree
- End-to-end capital project delivery experience in industrial, defense, or manufacturing environments
- 3+ years leading and developing engineering teams
- Ability to establish processes and standards in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Experience managing external contractors, construction firms, and vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Demonstrated commitment to safety culture in rigorous regulatory environments including OSHA and ITAR
- Self-starter capable of leading in a fast-paced startup environment
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status to comply with ITAR
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain state and federal explosives licenses
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in manufacturing environments with PPE
Nice to have
- Experience with energetic materials, explosives, or hazardous manufacturing facility construction including C1D1/C2D1 classified environments
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools
- PMP, CCM, or equivalent project management certification
