What they ask for
Required
- Licensed physician with MD or DO degree
- Active unrestricted medical license in Oregon, Washington, Idaho or Utah
- Board certification in general psychiatry or child psychiatry
- At least 3 years clinical experience
- Two years health plan medical utilization management or case management experience
- Qualified to render clinical opinions on medical conditions and treatments under review
Nice to have
- Knowledge of health insurance industry and state/federal regulations including Parity Legislation
- Experience conducting medical case reviews for utilization or case management
