What they ask for

Required

  • Terminal degree in a scientific discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical, research, therapeutic area, or disease-area experience post-degree
  • Ability to conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussion with external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated scientific excellence and focus on scientific education
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and organize priorities in changing environments
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance, laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
  • English fluency (written and spoken)
  • Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and regional health authority requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual presentation platforms
  • Understanding of CRM documentation requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 75%

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in melanoma research, clinical work, or medical affairs
  • Prior experience in immuno-oncology
  • Prior experience with partnered or co-developed programs
  • Scientific or medical publication record
  • Field-based medical or Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience
  • Proven ability to develop and manage KOL relationships
  • Advanced proficiency in empathetic listening and medical insights gathering
  • Established relationships in the oncology medical community
  • Experience with health economics and real-world data/evidence discussions
  • Experience with digital-first stakeholder engagement and AI-enabled tools
