What they ask for
Required
- Terminal degree in a scientific discipline (MD, PhD, PharmD) or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of clinical, research, therapeutic area, or disease-area experience post-degree
- Ability to conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussion with external stakeholders
- Demonstrated scientific excellence and focus on scientific education
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and organize priorities in changing environments
- Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance, laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines
- English fluency (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with FDA, EMA, and regional health authority requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual presentation platforms
- Understanding of CRM documentation requirements
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Nice to have
- Prior experience in melanoma research, clinical work, or medical affairs
- Prior experience in immuno-oncology
- Prior experience with partnered or co-developed programs
- Scientific or medical publication record
- Field-based medical or Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience
- Proven ability to develop and manage KOL relationships
- Advanced proficiency in empathetic listening and medical insights gathering
- Established relationships in the oncology medical community
- Experience with health economics and real-world data/evidence discussions
- Experience with digital-first stakeholder engagement and AI-enabled tools
