What they ask for
Required
- 10+ years in trade compliance, customs operations, or supply chain management with a Bachelor's degree (or 8+ years with a Master's)
- Lead and manage trade compliance programs ensuring global regulatory adherence
- Develop and execute tariff mitigation and duty optimization strategies
- Manage customs broker performance and freight alignment with trade requirements
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of approximately 30 trade and logistics professionals with 5 direct reports
- Translate regulatory requirements into executable operational plans
- Strong analytical and executive communication skills with ability to influence across matrixed teams
Nice to have
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) designation or active pursuit
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
- Experience with CBP C-TPAT and AEO programs
- Familiarity with trade compliance software platforms
- Experience in electronic components distribution or semiconductor supply chain
- Exposure to duty drawback software and licensed drawback agents
- Experience managing Foreign Trade Zone operations
- Knowledge of Mexico cross-border trade programs including IMMEX and SAT/ANAM
