What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or STEM field
- 5+ years as a Quality Engineer in fast-paced manufacturing
- Experience interfacing with design engineering, manufacturing, production and test teams
- In-depth knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and complex assembly quality processes
- Working knowledge of PLM, MES, ERP and QMS software
- Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to solve complex problems and coordinate across multiple teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Process development and first-time quality expertise
Nice to have
- Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, SPC, and PPV methodologies
- New product introduction (NPI) experience with hardware systems
- Knowledge of high-volume inspection methods and data-driven acceptance
- Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 for aerospace programs
- Self-starter with ability to define and own processes from scratch
