  • 4–7 years of payroll experience
  • 3+ years handling multi-state US payroll at 1,000+ employee scale
  • Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
  • Workday HRIS experience including Workday-to-payroll processor integration
  • Canadian payroll processing experience with provincial compliance and year-end requirements
  • Process automation and improvement track record
  • Strong understanding of US payroll tax concepts including federal withholding, FICA, SUI/SIT, supplemental wages, and equity taxation
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience in pre-IPO or high-growth tech environments

Nice to have

  • CPP or PCP certification or certification aspirations
  • Equity administration platform experience (Carta, Morgan Stanley Shareworks)
  • Global payroll vendor or PEO structure familiarity for EMEA or APAC
  • Payroll runbook, SOP, and internal controls documentation experience
  • Workday Payroll module experience
