Required
- 4–7 years of payroll experience
- 3+ years handling multi-state US payroll at 1,000+ employee scale
- Hands-on proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Workday HRIS experience including Workday-to-payroll processor integration
- Canadian payroll processing experience with provincial compliance and year-end requirements
- Process automation and improvement track record
- Strong understanding of US payroll tax concepts including federal withholding, FICA, SUI/SIT, supplemental wages, and equity taxation
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Cross-functional communication skills
- Experience in pre-IPO or high-growth tech environments
Nice to have
- CPP or PCP certification or certification aspirations
- Equity administration platform experience (Carta, Morgan Stanley Shareworks)
- Global payroll vendor or PEO structure familiarity for EMEA or APAC
- Payroll runbook, SOP, and internal controls documentation experience
- Workday Payroll module experience
