What they ask for
Required
- 7+ years of product management experience
- Majority of PM experience in databases, data infrastructure, developer tools, or platform products
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL architecture, operational model, ecosystem, and production tradeoffs
- Deep empathy for both engineering teams and customers
- Technical depth to make architectural tradeoffs with engineering
- Track record of turning ambiguous reliability and infrastructure problems into clear strategy and shipped outcomes
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
Nice to have
- Experience as a database engineer, DBA, or infrastructure engineer
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL internals, replication tooling, or extension ecosystem like pgvector or PostGIS
- Experience building AI agents or data infrastructure for them
