Required
- 3+ years as an engineer with customer or external stakeholder exposure
- Direct experience with media data, ideally audio data
- Built and operated data processing, analysis, or delivery systems at scale
- Customer-facing communication: translating ambiguous requirements, discussing trade-offs, earning technical trust
- End-to-end ownership from problem definition through implementation, validation, and support
- High tolerance for ambiguity and bias toward action with sound judgment about escalation
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with multiple concurrent priorities and time-sensitive work
Nice to have
- Early-stage startup experience as a founding or early engineer
- Hands-on Python experience
- Product engineering experience or strong product mindset developed with users
- Exposure to search, vector embeddings, semantic retrieval, or ML-assisted data curation
- Experience with AWS, Dagster, Databricks, or Vercel
- Audio processing, speech or music ML, transcription, diarization, annotation, quality measurement, privacy or redaction workflows
