- Tennessee license as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- ACNP or AGACNP certification (NP) or PA certification
- Advanced clinical knowledge in critical care assessment and diagnosis
- Ability to manage high-acuity, unstable patients
- Competency in pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapeutics
- Proficiency with diagnostic procedures and interpretation
