What they ask for
Required
- 8+ years professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years directly managing engineers
- Led a team of 5–10 engineers shipping production software predictably
- Strong technical depth in backend and distributed systems
- Experience owning delivery commitments and recovering off-track projects
- Track record raising engineering standards (testing, code review, observability, or tech debt)
- Close partnership with Product on scoping and planning
- Direct, low-ego communication style
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to have
- Experience with Go, Android, or connected device/IoT fleets at scale
- Experience operating in EOS or similar structured operating cadence
- Background in retail media, adtech, or digital signage
