- Proficient knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure
- Understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems including transformers, generators, switchgear, and UPS systems
- Experience with data trending and analysis
- Expert knowledge of industrial safety practices including LOTO and Arc Flash protection
- Strong technical background with computer/network hardware and support infrastructure (HVAC and electrical)
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
- Drug and alcohol program participation (safety-sensitive position)
Nice to have
- Prior experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or power plants
- CompTIA Network+, BICSI, or specialized electrical/HVAC certifications
- Experience with industrial control systems and PLC programming
