- Current license to practice as a practical or vocational nurse, or pending license
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-06 level including medication administration and hands-on nursing procedures
- Ability to perform medication administration and nursing procedures according to provider orders
- Experience documenting patient responses and reporting condition changes to nurses or physicians
- Ability to direct nursing assistants or support staff as assigned by a registered nurse
- Physical capability for prolonged standing, lifting up to 50+ pounds, bending, and repositioning residents
- Ability to work in high-risk infection exposure environment
