- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant embedded Linux focus
- Deep expertise in Linux kernel internals including network and platform driver development
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, routing, network interfaces, and socket programming
- Experience implementing or integrating custom communication protocols
- Proficiency in C and C++
- Experience with Yocto or Buildroot
- Familiarity with cross-compilation toolchains and embedded debugging
- Experience with real-time or latency-constrained Linux environments
- Strong hardware/software debugging skills
- Git, unit testing, continuous integration, and Jira experience
- Track record leading projects across multiple embedded targets or larger systems
- Experience defining and improving engineering processes across teams
