What they ask for
Required
- 8+ years software engineering experience
- 6+ years shipping production iOS applications in Swift with Objective-C interop in legacy codebases
- Deep expertise in iOS frameworks and app architecture including SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift Concurrency, and architectural patterns at scale
- Proven track record architecting modular iOS codebases with feature modularization and dependency injection
- Hands-on experience with on-device machine learning using Core ML, Vision, and Natural Language frameworks
- Practical understanding of on-device versus server-side inference tradeoffs
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and sound judgment about code review needs
- Expertise with iOS delivery toolchain including Xcode, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong command of mobile quality and performance engineering including testing, profiling, and app optimization
- Experience owning app security and compliance including secure storage, Keychain, and biometric authentication
- Ability to translate design specifications into accessible, internationalized iOS code
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor engineers
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

- Experience developing large-scale consumer-facing mobile applications with millions of active users
- Experience integrating Apple Intelligence capabilities
- Experience with model conversion and quantization for on-device inference
- Experience shipping LLM-backed product features
- Experience in large multi-team or monorepo mobile environments
