What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5+ years of RF communication system architecture, analysis, or component engineering experience
- Experience with at least three of: RF architecture & link budgets, RF system selection/design/integration, RF passive component selection/design, antenna design/analysis/modeling, hands-on RF lab testing, integrated ground station or spacecraft RF testing, communicating complex RF topics across disciplines
Nice to have
- Experience with space environments (radiation effects, thermal extremes, vacuum operation, component derating)
- Deep-space spacecraft communications system design and architecture
- Deep-space ground station networks
- High-gain antennas, phased arrays, or gimbaled antenna systems
- RF hardware design or validation for flight qualification (TVAC, vibe, EMI/EMC)
