Required
- 7+ years building and operating complex software and compute infrastructure
- Hands-on experience across hardware, operating systems, networking, and automation
- Deployed an agentic harness (OpenClaw, Hermes, SybilClaw, or comparable) in production
- Strong Linux and macOS systems experience
- Experience operating physical infrastructure, VMs, or containers in production
- Strong networking fundamentals including routing, VLANs, DNS, and firewalls
- Ability to write software, scripts, CLIs, and integrations when tools don't exist
- Meaningful open-source software contribution or maintenance experience
- Sound judgment on reliability, security, performance, and simplicity
Nice to have
- Experience with ITAR-regulated, air-gapped, or export-controlled environments
- Local LLM inference deployment experience with Ollama, MLX, vLLM, or llama.cpp
- Model routing, context management, agent state, or multi-agent systems experience
- Built internal developer infrastructure used daily by other engineers
- Deployed systems into customer or forward-deployed environments
- GitHub, Gitea, or portfolio demonstrating your work
