What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5+ years DOT-PHMSA work experience or pipeline projects/operations
  • Extensive knowledge of PHMSA regulations in 49 CFR 190, 191, 194, 195, 196 and API Recommended Practices
  • 5+ years safety and environmental compliance experience or petroleum pipeline industry experience
  • Ability to respond to emergency incidents
  • Ability to implement sustainable organizational change
  • Willingness to develop direct reports
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Subject to DOT drug and alcohol testing and MVR monitoring

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering or STEM major
  • Knowledge of NIMS-ICS system and ICS-100, 200, IS-700, 8002 certifications
  • Government compliance background as DOT-PHMSA or State Pipeline Safety Inspector or Compliance Auditor
