Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience hiring and building high-performing teams
- Project scope and schedule management
- Ability to motivate and direct reports
- Hands-on experience building, testing, or assembling ground support equipment for spaceflight applications
- Mechanical component and instrumentation selection for test systems
- Experience with at least one of: vibration testing, thermal testing, or vacuum testing
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- Ability to pass U.S. government background investigation
Nice to have
- Experience with all three types of testing: vibration, thermal, and vacuum
- Electrical integration of analog and digital components with data acquisition systems
- LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or other data acquisition and data reduction software
- Pressure system test stands and complex fluid systems with industry-standard fittings
- Troubleshooting and real-time problem-solving for mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience with hazardous gases in laboratory and test environments
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical technicians
