Required
- 6+ years of professional software engineering or solutions engineering experience
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and reliability engineering principles
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Go, Java, TypeScript, or Python)
- Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems at scale
- Ability to debug complex technical issues and guide customers through resolution
- Customer-facing skills with ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Experience creating technical documentation, runbooks, and training materials
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating across teams
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and team events
- Must reside in the Western Time Zone
Nice to have
- Prior experience with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms
- Experience with observability tools and practices for distributed systems
- Background in professional services, technical consulting, or solutions engineering roles
- Experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Contributions to open source projects or developer communities
- Experience designing and delivering technical training or workshops
