- 5+ years building and operating production systems
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Python, JavaScript, Java, Scala, or similar)
- Experience building services and APIs at scale
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS or GCP)
- Modern deployment practices (containers, CI/CD, observability)
- Experience with data systems (NoSQL stores, data warehouses)
Nice to have
- Privacy, security, or governance domain experience (access control, encryption, anonymization, audit logging, data lifecycle management)
