What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor of Science in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years designing, building, and commissioning tooling and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and test
- CAD and FEA-based analysis software experience
- Full-cycle project completion experience
- Strategic tooling buildout and project management experience
Nice to have
- Design for manufacturability and design for assembly expertise
- Knowledge of manufacturing materials, GD&T, and tolerance/stack-up analysis
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and machines including mills, lathes, welding, sheet-metal bending, lifting/rigging, assembly, and inspection
- Custom machine design experience with motors, actuators, linear rails, pneumatics, and bearings
