What they ask for
Required
- JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree
- Licensed to practice law in jurisdiction of work location
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or SaaS contracts
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing legal staff
Nice to have
- 8+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts or technology transactions
- Active California state bar membership
- Track record leading legal teams through high-growth phases
- Experience with multi-stakeholder technical and policy agreements
- Knowledge of or interest in AI technology and policy
- Collaborative, low-ego working style
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
