  • Bachelor's degree in IT or 5 years in Information Security/Network Engineering
  • 2-4 years as Security Operations Analyst or equivalent
  • Information Security certification (CEH or CISSP) or 2+ years Network Engineer experience
  • Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and threat detection
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection
  • Understanding of networking protocols
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
  • Knowledge of malware and virus definitions
  • Experience with patching and CVE review
  • Microsoft Windows environment expertise including security configurations and Active Directory
