What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in IT or 5 years in Information Security/Network Engineering
- 2-4 years as Security Operations Analyst or equivalent
- Information Security certification (CEH or CISSP) or 2+ years Network Engineer experience
- Knowledge of security principles, risk management, and threat detection
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Understanding of networking protocols
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools
- Knowledge of malware and virus definitions
- Experience with patching and CVE review
- Microsoft Windows environment expertise including security configurations and Active Directory

- Compliance and financial industry regulations knowledge
- Security frameworks experience
