What this role is
Licensed practical nurses visit patients in their homes to deliver skilled nursing care following hospital stays or outpatient procedures, managing medications, wound care, and patient education within scope of practice. This role suits nurses who work independently, want autonomy in the field, and prefer building meaningful relationships with patients in a home setting rather than a facility.
