What they ask for
Required
- 3+ years designing, building, and testing large mechanisms
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
- Proficiency with NX/Teamcenter or similar 3D CAD and configuration control software
- Proficiency with ANSYS, Femap, or equivalent FEM analysis tools
- Understanding of machining, welding, GD&T, and design-fabrication processes
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pressurized systems basics
- Familiarity with mechanical industrial standards (ASME, AWS)
- Ability to troubleshoot and implement solutions under time pressure
- Willingness to relocate to Cape Canaveral, Florida
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR requirements
Nice to have
- 5+ years of launch site or launch hardware facility experience
- Experience with T-0 Release Devices
- Proficiency with AFSPCMAN 91-710 and Space Force range requirements
- Experience with P&IDs and hydraulic schematics
