Required
- 3+ years designing, building, and testing large mechanisms
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering
- NX/Teamcenter or equivalent 3D CAD and configuration management
- Ansys, Femap, or equivalent FEM analysis tools
- Design for manufacturing expertise including machining, welding, and GD&T
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pressurized systems basics
- Knowledge of mechanical standards like ASME and AWS
- Real-time problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work on short timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Willingness to relocate to Cape Canaveral, Florida
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience at a launch site or similar high-performance facility
- Experience with T-0 Release Devices
- Knowledge of AFSPCMAN 91-710 and Space Force range requirements
- Experience reading P&IDs and hydraulic schematics
