What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience
- Experience maturing satellite or launch vehicle designs from concept to manufacturing drawings
- Mechanical design experience with optical systems
- Knowledge of space system design requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional teams on mechanical design efforts
- CAD proficiency for part and assembly modeling and manufacturing drawings
- US Person status for ITAR compliance
Nice to have
- PTC Creo and Windchill software experience
- Structural analysis and test experience
- Thermal analysis and test experience
