What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of FPGA development in mission-critical applications (launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, or robotics)
- Full-lifecycle FPGA expertise from RTL design through verification, synthesis, timing analysis, and validation
- Proficiency in at least one HDL (VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog)
- Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, debugging, and data analysis
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams (mechanical, thermal, electrical, software)
- Familiarity with multiple FPGA toolchains and platforms from major vendors
Nice to have
- Strong DSP knowledge in RF applications including forward error correction, channel estimation, and modulation schemes
- Experience with code generation or High Level Synthesis tools (SpinalHDL, Chisel, Vitis, SystemC, Simulink)
- RISC-V development toolchain familiarity
- Experience with rigorous software development practices including version control, change traceability, code coverage, and CI/CD pipelines
