Required
- Substantial experience managing corporate tax function at multinational software/technology company
- Hands-on experience running income tax provision and compliance processes
- Big 4 public accounting and in-house tax department experience
- Owned full ASC 740 provision cycle including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, footnotes, disclosures, and auditor management
- Managed US federal and state income tax compliance program at scale with co-sourced Big 4 arrangements
- Hands-on experience with complex M&A transactions including tax purchase price allocations, ASC 805 opening balance sheet accounting, diligence and structuring
- Ability to write clear technical memos that satisfy Big 4 auditors and explain issues to non-tax stakeholders
- Hold CPA
Nice to have
- Master's in Taxation or LLM
- Familiarity with data center or capital-intensive infrastructure transactions
- Experience analyzing warrants, convertible instruments, equity embedded in commercial agreements, and debt-equity analysis
- Pre-IPO readiness or public company reporting experience
- Interest in applying AI tools to tax workflows
