This role is for a software architect to design and deliver cloud-native features on SAP's Concur travel and expense platform, working across multiple programming languages and DevOps practices. Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technology field (completed or in-progress)
  • Extensive professional software development experience
  • Ability to architect and develop highly scalable and resilient applications
  • Write clean, scalable code in Java, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Python or similar modern languages
  • Coach and mentor other developers on coding and testing best practices
  • Experience writing unit and integration automated tests
  • DevOps mindset with extended continuous delivery and observability experience
  • Knowledge of Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AWS services (EC2, AMIs, EKS, DynamoDB)
  • Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong English communication skills and comfort collaborating internationally
  • End-to-end feature development and implementation across global deployments

Nice to have

  • Experience with TDD or BDD
  • Experience with C# and ASP.NET
  • Hands-on experience with cloud native solutions
  • FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, SOC2 compliance knowledge
