What they ask for
Required
- 8+ years in model risk management, validation, governance, or quantitative risk with experience building or scaling governance teams
- 4+ years of people management experience building and scaling model risk or governance teams
- Deep knowledge of financial institution model governance including SR 11-7, SR 26-2, OCC guidance, and fair lending
- Technical ability to read models, interrogate methodology, and work with data scientists; working knowledge of Python and SQL proficiency
- Balance governance rigor with speed using judgment rather than defaulting to either extreme
- Strong analytical skills and excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Economics, or related STEM)
- Legal authorization to work in and reside in the US
Nice to have
- Experience with fraud, identity verification, credit risk, or financial risk models
- Experience supporting model governance with banks or regulated financial institutions
- Experience with AWS (S3, SageMaker) and GitHub
- Master's degree in a quantitative field
