What they ask for
Required
- 8–12 years of mechanical design experience
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience designing and building mechanisms and assemblies
- Knowledge of motors, encoders, sensors, power transmission, gears, splines, lead screws, linear guides, and harmonic drive actuators
- Mechanical analysis experience including tolerance stacks, static and dynamic analysis, FEA, and thermal analysis
- Creo and Windchill proficiency
Nice to have
- Actuator design or selection experience
- Advanced degree in mechatronics or robotics
- Jira and Confluence experience for project management
