  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Science)
  • 5+ years related engineering experience
  • 3+ years aircraft structural design experience
  • 1+ years composite structure design experience
  • Manufacturing or production systems experience

Nice to have

  • 5+ years wing or empennage structure design (wing tips, leading/trailing edges, center section, box, join, vertical or horizontal stabilizers)
  • CATIA and Model Based Definition expertise for primary structures
  • Experience designing and qualifying composite primary structures (laminate design, ply-drop strategies, structural strength)
  • Hands-on fabrication experience with metallic and composite structures
  • Part 21 and Part 25 CFR knowledge and FAA regulator interaction
