What they ask for

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years designing, building, or testing rocket fluids systems, rocket engines, or valves
  • 1+ years leading a technical project
  • Expert knowledge of compressible flow, thermodynamics, structures, control systems, cryogenics, and instrumentation
  • Data analysis and processing proficiency
  • Siemens NX and Teamcenter experience
  • P&ID revision control proficiency
  • Knowledge of aerospace fasteners, seals, tubing, fittings, and COTS hardware
  • Instrumentation experience with pressure transducers, thermocouples, accelerometers, and flow meters
  • Proficiency with fluid analysis tools
  • GD&T, tolerance stackups, and material selection expertise
  • Hands-on fabrication and assembly experience
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status (ITAR requirement)

Nice to have

  • Siemens AMESim, Thermal Desktop, Python, EES, REFPROP, Excel, or MATLAB experience
